Is this an allergic reaction to the new bar of soap I've been using?
For the past month, I tried a new brand of soap bar. I noticed my legs have recently been very itchy, but do not really think about it. I also noticed that I started having a red stain on the thigh superior (my thighs and legs were very itchy.) Tonight, when I was using the soap on my legs, I felt my legs were practically on fire. I think there's something in the soap?? Is this an allergic reaction? Thanks.
Would have to first ask what soap you're using but I would say it is definitely an allergic reaction. Calamine lotion will definitely relieve the itching. But I would advise not to use soap and see if the rash goes away. If you do not go to see your local doctor or dermatologist.
