  • Go to the Private area and choose "Clear Now".
  • In "Clear Private Data" window, check "Browsing history" and opt for "Clear Private Data Now".

If users of AOL browser are thinking about how to clear search history, the following guideline can be of help:

  • Locate the “Settings” button at the top segment of the AOL window and click on it.
  • Next, you should select “Preferences” and then choose “Toolbar and Sounds".
  • Finally, click “Clear history trail now” button.

 

Opera users can clear the history of visited sites by following these steps:

  • Go to the "Tools" menu.
  • Select "Delete Private Data".
  • Click the button marked “Details”.
  • Choose "Clear history of visited links".
  • Click on the “Delete" button.

 

If you use Netscape browser, you can delete search history by clicking the menu marked "Edit" and then select "Preferences" and "History" one after the other, lastly clicking on the button marked "Clear History".

This can help you to work faster as you don't need to type the same information/data again.
